What is 8000 REVERSE?

8000 REVERSE is the way to call reverse charge to Australia. One easy to remember number allows you to call Australia reverse charge from most phones from most overseas destinations.

How does 8000 REVERSE work?

From almost any phone (home, office, hotel or payphone) you simply call the international access code specific for that country followed by the numbers that spell 8000REVERSE.

For example, when calling reverse charge from the UK to Australia,
(remember - the service is only available for calls TO Australia) you would dial:

0-0-8-0-0-0-7-3-8-3-7-7-3

If calling from the USA, you would dial 011 8000 REVERSE, that is:

0-1-1-8-0-0-0-7-3-8-3-7-7-3

 

You will then be asked to follow the prompts entering the number you wish to call and saying your name before the call is connected!

What is an ACCESS CODE?
